What’s your scent?

Although I firmly believe that every scent is different on every person, I wanted to list some of my all time favorites here for you! If you are in the market for a new fragrance, always remember to test them out first. Burberry, for example, doesn’t do anything for me. Everyone’s skin reacts differently to perfumes, which is why no perfume will smell the same on two people.

While choosing your scent, it’s important to keep a few things in mind
§  Don’t wear any perfume/ cologne. Spray a small amount of perfume on the inside of your wrist. Wait for a few minutes- till the alcohol evaporates. This is when the perfume is really mingling with your skin.
§  I usually try not to buy the perfume on the same day that I test it. You always want to see how the perfume smells after a few hours.
§  A great tip is to apply perfume after lotion-ing your skin. I always try to buy perfumes in gift sets- these will generally include a body lotion. For a lingering effect, layering up the lotion and the perfume is the way to go.

Below are some of the perfumes I have tried. I own most of these currently – Many people have a ‘signature’ perfume, but I like being unpredictable ;) …… therefore my scent depends on my mood!
YES I spend too much money on perfume! ^_^

Pocket Friendly Buys

If you are in the market for a great palette with neutral colors for everyday wear, definitely try Maybelline's new "The Nudes" or "The Blushed Nudes" palette. The first contains beautiful shades of taupe and gold, which can work, for creating both a daytime subtle look as well as a smoldering nighttime look. The latter contains colors with undertones of plum, greys and blues or those of us who may want to add a hint of color! These are perfect palettes that aren’t too overwhelming - the best part, they are in the $10 range.

Perfecting eyebrows, for those of us who are not born with' em, is a new trend this season. I am loving the Maybelline "Brow define + fill duo pencil"

An eye cream is a must for all of us who past that 30-year mark and still are fabulous! :) - My current favorite is the Aveda Green Science Firming Eye Cream. Though on the pricey side, this worked really well for me. Burt's Bees Intense Hydration eye cream is another one of my favorites.

I really like using infused facial mask sheets for deep skin care.... I order these from amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008EOK0D6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01)

Nose blackhead removal, try these charcoal pore strips (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005ITRIOY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00)
